Unity Issues After Upgrade From 12.04 To 14.04

Hello,

I have been having al sorts of display issues after upgrading from 12.04 to 14.04. What I really would like to to is reset unity and compiz to their default settings. I have tried some commands to reset unity but it goes back to custom settings. I believe the issue is partially because there are remnants of customizations that I did in 12.04. Any thoughts on where I should start to look to remove those older settings? Thanks

Yes, and unfortunately the old settings keep coming back.
