how to set software souces in Ubuntu 13.04

Need to download gparted, software center cannot find the correct repository. How does one specify which repositories are to be used, for example, in the command line

"sudo apt-get install gparted"

which returns

"unable to locate package gparted"

13.04 has passed its End Of Life (EOL). We no longer support threads requesting support for EOL releases of Ubuntu.

I will leave this thread open for a time to see if anyone can help you sort out upgrading.
