12.04.4 to 14.04.1

I understand users of Ubuntu 12.04 will be given the option to upgrade to 14.04.1, but I couldn't find anything for Xubuntu (mine is 12.04.4) and the packages listed in Update Manager does not seem to include this - besides it is a separate popup with the Upgrade button above isn't it? Does anyone know if/when this will be offered or I guess whether it really matters if you do it that way?

A lot of people report trouble when trying to upgrade from 12.04 to 14.04. It's my advise to backup all important data and just do a fresh install of 14.04 to avoid some of those problems.
