I downloaded the ubuntu-14.04-desktop-amd64.iso (3C400000 Bytes) and when I tried to boot from the flash drive, I got this error message:

ERROR: No configuration file found
No DEFAULT or UI configuration directive found!
boot: _
Configuration file: Where should the file be located? What is the file name? What needs to be in the file?
UI: What is "UI"?
What other problem(s) would cause this error message?
What command(s) in what format(s) will be accepted as input after the "boot:" prompt?
