Just installed Peppermint 5, dual boot with Xubuntu 12.04. Removed Ubuntu 10.04 to make space. Used Gparted to format sda1 and sda5 partitions. Installed Peppermint 5 using / and /home just like Ubuntu 10.04. did not change swap space. The problem is when I try to boot to Peppermint, I get
error: 8e16796b-679c-444c-877b-b8f7ec867fe
error: file not found
error: you need to load kernel first
press any key to continue
I believe the problem is the old kernels 2.6.32-43 thru 2.6.32-46. I think these kernels are for Ubuntu 10.04. I Googled Peppermint kernel number, and could not it. How to remove these kernels and replace with Peppermint 5 kernel, on GRUB page. Thank You
