I have just upgraded my 12.04 64 bit server to 14.04 and the Webcam Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 is no longer working with this new release but it worked perfectly in 12.04.
UPDATE: working with motion (all i did was: sudo apt-get install motion)

sudo uvcdynctrl -l
