Anyone else having problems accessing Distrowatch today?

I get some hosting page instead.

I don't know, now distrowatch.org isn't working here, either.

Earlier today, the .com domain was showing it had expired on 3 July.

Now, it's listed as renewed. If that's all that was going on, "distrowatch.com" should be available once the DNS percolates around the net.

The site's been available off and on here via the .org domain.

.org is working here, .com is not, it shows the registrar's (or whatever) page still.

how can you "forget"? what kind of host is that?

i start getting emails to renew a month before expiration then two weeks, a week, a couple of days and then a day before ... anyway plenty of emails on this topic when it's time to renew. they make sure i do not "forget" and stay with them.

DistroWatch.com domain name status

As many of you noticed, the distrowatch.com domain name was suspended by the domain's registrar, Doteasy, last Sunday. I don't want to go into details about what exactly happened as it's a long and boring story. Suffice to say that I feel grossly aggrieved by the series of greedy and malicious actions taken by Doteasy and as soon as I get this sorted out, I will be looking into transferring the distrowatch.com domain name to another registrar. If any of you have a recommendation for a good registrar (preferably with customer support personnel that is competent), please let me know in the comments section below or send me an email to distrowatch@yandex.ru (the distrowatch.com mail service has also been suspended by Doteasy).

distrowatch.org was back up but now it's down again. Guess it's going to take awhile to get it up for good.

both work for me. maybe the holiday weekend had something to do with it.
