I like Xfce and I like Gnome. I have Xfce on my Xubuntu 14.04 desktop computer, and Gnome on my Fedora 20 laptop
I want to install both environments on both systems.

Would it be ok to do that?
What kind of clutter comes with having both? (Since Xfce depends on a lot of Gnome packages, I can't imagine much)
System performance impact?

You should be able to use both, with an option to choose between which you login to on start.

I believe it's just:

sudo apt-get install xfce4

Edit: xfce4 not xubuntu-desktop, without all the extra *buntu stuff.

Yes I already know HOW to install it. I was just wondering if there are any dependency issues, excessive clutter, etc...
