View Full Version : [SOLVED] Thanks Xubuntu - add Sifr icons to LibreOffice 4.2.4

Hello all,

I installed xubuntu yesterday on an old laptop, and I love it! I never used Linux before so I'm a perfect noob, but I'm amazed by the simplicity of this distribution. Still, I just removed Abiword and Gnumeric in order to install Libreoffice (official package, I guess). On Windows this version has the set of icons called "Sifr" (nice and flat), but I don't see them in this version.

So, how can I add them to LibreOffice? I have the last version of Xubuntu (I don't even know where to check that...).

Thanks in advance and what a great job all people involved have done!

p.s.
I try a few commands I found, but nothing worked.

Hi Ghune, welcome to the forums.

To install and enable Sifr Icon theme, open your terminal window, hitting Super+T keys for the effect and run the following:
sudo apt-get install libreoffice-style-sifrAfter that, open LibreOffice, click on Tools > Options > View and change the icon style to Sifr.
