I am hoping someone can help me identify the issue with my Ubuntu 14.04 OS.
I am currently running a AMD A series quad-core process with 1 Terabyte HD, and 20 GB ram, ASUS motherboard A88X-PRO.
I was able to install Ubuntu successfully with pretty much all the default setting except for requiring encryption on the home folder. While working on the machine and setting up my software on it, twice the desktop froze on me.
I could not move the mouse and keyboard stop responding no error message, just frozen, I have power off the machine and turn it back on.
I am not sure what the issue is or how to beginning to identify where to find logs that will tell me where I can start to look for system/driver/application issues.
