View Full Version : Why has the Alacarte section been closed?

Browsing through the forums, I just noticed only now that the Alacarte Menu Editor section has been closed 3 days ago, as requested by Alacarte's developer.

Why? Is Alacarte being dropped?

I hope not. Aside from a few bugs/issues, I think Alacarte beats the hell out of KMenuEdit and Xfce menu editor any time. And this is coming from an "almost" hardcore Kubuntu user.

because the developer Amaranth requested it to be closed in this thread

Oh I see. Quite sad that it didn't all end happily. Has Amaranth made any announcements/updates lately?

i haven't seen anything lately.
