now i see only a dummy pulse audio out in the mixer.
i should have HD-Audio Generic [alsamixer]
but i don't understand what happened to my default audio card
how do i fix the audio problem in this ubuntu-14.04 installation. initially it was working fine.
and still ubuntu-13.01 goes strong even after many updates. the audio work fine in this 13.1 install.
help needed.
both are 64 bit amd installations in a usb hdd.
