Rebuild machine with clean SDD and installed Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Desktop Install/Live DVD 64-Bit Software. Looks like a good install. However since this machine will never be connected to network I got the Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Software Respositary - 15 DVD Set (64-bit). Followed the readme on disk one: copying installrepo to /tmp and then running the installer with sudo /tmp/installrepo. After it asks for password I get (87l) Error unmounting /dev/dvd. I have reinstalled Ubuntu and tried many ways of copying the executable to /tmp . I am at a standstill after searching for an answer so I thought I'd ask for help.
