I have installed Lubuntu 14.04 and once I get the AMD drivers I cannot play videos full screen on youtube because they go at like 1 frame every 5 seconds, seriously. Also, the GUI becomes slow. I have noticed this same thing happens in my Lubuntu and Mint installations (both based on 14.04). My graphics card is an AMD 6790. I would like to know if this is a problem with the AMD drivers or with flash and how to fix both of these problems. All help will be appreciated.

Not sure I can help you with the video, but which browser are you using and how did you install flash ?

I am using Firefox and I told Lubuntu to install all the third party programs from the beginning.

I found flash works best in google-chrome as it's the most up to date flash.
Chrome uses Pepper Flash Player plugin.
Adobe has only supported Pepper plugin APIs on Linux for about a year now.
non-pepper flash only gets security updates.

Thanks a lot! I guess I'll move to Chrome until they fix this.
