Hi,

i have a rather interesting problem which all started with me trying to update my graphics cards driver. I had 14.04 64bit installed, tried to update my driver, screwed that up and ended up with making a bootable USB-stick with 14.04 32bit with LiLi (which i assumed would download 64bit images. it doesn't...). Reinstalling with that fine, had to change my home folder rights after, but it all worked. Discovered after a couple of hours that i accidentally installed 32bit, so i manually downloaded the 14.04 64bit image, formatted my usb stick and made it bootable with said image (again with LiLi). Reinstalled with that, and now i get a kernel panic when i try to boot.

Any ideas highly appreciated :)

edit: Forgot to say, i can do a live boot without any problems from the usb stick.
