New 12.04 install on chrome book

Hi guys

I've just installed on an aver c7. All looks good except for no networks...at all,wired or wireless. I have the empty wireless icon in the task bar and enable networking is ticked. But nothing. If I look in additional drivers I can see that support for atheros wireless is installed and in use.

I tried connecting by wire but nothing.
If I run an ifconfig all I see is the info for 'lo'

Any help much appreciated

That's frustrating. What is the output of:

sudo lshw -C network
