I wanted to upgrade my ubuntu from 13.04 to 13.10 (and then to 14.04), but Software Updater telling me that there's no new update
What i have tried but not fixing the problem:
* switching "Notify me of a new ubuntu version" in "Software & Updates" to "For any new version"
* Tried "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade", returning: "0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded."
* tried in terminal "do-release-upgrade" returning "No new release found"
* Tried to add "old-releases" source to sources.list
I hope someone can help me fix the problem, thanks a lot.
[UPDATE] I've fixed this by doing a reboot.
