Hi Everyone,

How to downgrade kernel version to 2.6.36 and below in ubuntu 12.04.
I facing this issue for installing a application which is not supporting Kernal 3.11.0-15 generic version. It needs kernal 2.6.36 and below verion.

Kindly help !!!!

You don't have to actually downgrade to an older kernel, just simply install the older kernel and then boot into it.
Look over this for how to, and then look through the archives to find you kernel.

when it's installed, simply choose that kernel at boot.

I would also note that I do not know how well an older kernel like 2.6.36 will play with 12.04.
