Hello Everyone-
I am a windows IT professional who is slowly breaking into the Linux world and am having a issue that I'm hoping the community can help me solve. I started out with Ubuntu 12.04, and am now using 14.04 LTS.
I am authenticating to the AF Portal with my Military CAC, and am attempting to authenticate to skillsoft, but have been unsuccessful after a great deal of troubleshooting. The skillsoft compatability browser does not detect java and it also has issues with detecting whether popups are blocked or not. I have no problem getting to this site from the mil network or my home windows box so there is not problem with my certificates. I have tried numerous different methods after reviewing the forum, and even recently reinstalled 14.04 to start fresh and use the default java load. This failed and the problem still exists. I think this is a simple fix for an expert, so anyone that can help please weigh in. Thank you.
