This update apparently kills applications with 16-bit code that are running under Wine or Crossover. In my case, it killed a mission critical application: QuickBooks 2001. Fortunately, my PCs are dual boot with Win XP Pro SP3, so I just needed to transfer the data files to an XP partition. Will there be a fix to the kernel?
