Hello friends of the free softwar community !

It has been 4 years that I am using linux and the free softwares and I would like to buy a Tux stuffed animal online.
Does anyone of you know a website that sell some at good prices ?

Ideally, I would like to buy it on the shop of a free software community so that my money goes to the right people.

Penguin regards to all :D

I have a shelf full of them. If you are in Los Angeles, then you are welcome to them. For free! I've collected mine at several SCaLE linux conferences. They are hard to find otherwise.

I found a zombie penguin: http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/1158/?srp=5

Look for a local linux user group. I'm sure members will have a few penguins that need a good home.

I would simply go to my local zoo.
Or a random store that caters to little girls who like stuffed animals.

Or you could just donate to an open source project of your choice. The penguins will eventually find their way.

This one is perfect for me but unfortunately I am not an expert in sewing... But I think I will give it a try.
Do you know any shops where I could find the material needed and some sewing tutorials ?

I might sew one of those. You would need to find a haberdashery or crafts store, like HobbyCraft in the UK. You can also get self-threading needles which helps.

How about these? https://www.google.com/search?q=tux+penguin+stuffed

I don't see any at ThinkGeek anymore, though. This one (http://cdn.opentip.com/Home-Kitchen/Iwgac-Tux-The-Linux-Penguin-Official-Open-Source-Mascot-p-3092042.html?gclid=CjgKEAjw2dqcBRC2q-LXjpfxjnQSJAAeYF5LFs6kqM7bg8yvr1fsqHmsJkc3VZSY3f64 r9A0SgDmT_D_BwE) is cute if you don't mind the "TUX" on its belly.

I think the sew option is probably the best one. I will try to do it myself and I will share my experience with you.
If you also do it could you keep us in touch?

There should be a sewing or fabric shop in or near your community. Pretty much every town has at least one nearby. If you go to them with your pattern they should be able to help picking the right fabrics and might even provide more information about where to get help on the methods.

Tons of promo tux plushes floating around too. Search ebay. Usually have some company's name on the stomach though.

Stuffed!? Real men have metal toys.

I once purchased about a dozen brass penguins at an auction and gave them all away to fellow geeks.
