Hello,

Is there a way that the Evolution calendar can be integrated with the calendar that shows up on the panel in Xubuntu.

I am using 14.04.

Thank you.

Found this - "http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/calendar-indicator-google-calendar-ubuntus-tray-linux/ " Will try it and post results.

It works for Ubuntu but not Xubuntu

Seems like I can't find an answer either. I liked that I could do it in Ubuntu as it made working everyday very convienent for me to check calendar appointments.

I don't have/use evolution so I can't comment on whether this works, but...

Xfce has two plugins that provide a calendar on the panel. One is called the "DateTime" plugin" and the other "Orage Panel Clock". The Orage panel clock calendar has an "Exchange Data" function that allows you to integrate with other calendars. As far as I can tell, it will integrate with Evolution. More information is available here (http://www.ghacks.net/2010/07/09/orage-xfce-calendar-application/).

I'll see if I can find some time to test this, this weekend.

Just found some time and yes, it works. Calendar entries created in evolution show up in the Orage calendar.

The Orage one, yes. Not the DateTime plugin.
