can't remove launcher whisker menu

I have a empty launcher in the multimedia section of menu from a removed program but it isn't in the list when I try edit applications to remove it how do I delete it . It also isn't in the file /usr/share/applications list

A desktop file could also be in ~/.local/share/applications and show up in the menu.
