I got an old computer where I installed Lubuntu 14.04, the graphics card is Firepro V3700. I tried installing the drivers from here
http://driverscollection.com/_43844545206a3bd8b1a1069215e/Download-ATI-FirePro-V3700-Proprietary-Display-Driver-v.8.911.3.1-for-Linux-x86-x86_64-free

I unzip the package and there is a run file, I double click it and it asks me if I want to exucute it or exucute in terminal. If I pick the first option nothing happens, however, when I go into the folder it creates after executing, a window pops up telling me I need to be a super user in order to proceed with the installation. If I pick the second option it just shows the directory in the terminal. I'm a Linux noob so please try to explain it as you would to a baby :/

When I check the "additional drivers" section it just says no additional drivers found, I found this one and I though installing it could increase the performance or compatibility.
