This is how Microsoft.fr looked after the attack July 16, 2006:

"Next target microsoft.com" ...good luck guys! (they'll need it.) The most secure of MS servers are probalby the hotmail servers as some of them are based on FreeBSD :)

LMAO..... hotmail got hacked years ago....when they switched to windows servers.
I'm sure they will manage to deface the MS site but how long will the defaced site be up is another matter.
Also remember its harder to actually secure a server than it is to crack it.

That's not true. They were using BSD, but switched to Windows-computers with IIS.

I don't like Microsoft or their O/S's but in defence it was a crappy .net script that had been installed by some joey that caused the hole the hacker used. This has nothing to do with the Windows O/S.

How kind of them making it easy to trace them. I think I saw a FBI plane leaving JFK airport towards Turkey! :)

Try explaining to Microsoft's friend that php isn't linux :)
