For some reason, I can't drag icons from my Dash's search results to my desktop in Ubuntu 14.04. I used to be able to do this in 12.04 without any problems. The error I get when I attempt this in 14.04 is:
Error while copying. There was an error getting information about "/".
Show more details: The specified location is not supported.
Does anyone know why this error message appears? For now, I've had to resort to copying the icons from /usr/share/applications to my desktop folder.
