Hi,
I have a hard time using strong passwords when I enable full encryption on my hard drive during install. If I use a simple one using only numbers and letters it work but when using a stronger passwords with other signs the login won't work.
My initial thought was if it was a keyboard layout error. I have a Swedish Keyboard, not using any special characters but some of the special signs have different position from for example US keyboard layout. When installing I choose English as language and Swedish as keyboard layout, when I try the keyboard in the box everything works just fine. I can enter my strong password when enabling encryption and Ubuntu installs just fine, but when rebooted after installation is done I cannot decrypt the drive using the password I just created. I have however tried choosing a password with only numbers and letters and that works.
Any ideas?
