Boot problems every kernel update

My name is Carlos.
I'm using Lubuntu 12.04 in an old Laptop Acer Travelmate 290Lmi.
This version works fine for me, but every kernel update breaks the boot.


Normally I can repair it with Boot Repair, but this time I can't!!!


Can you help me?

Lubuntu 12.04 is out of support. I recommend a fresh install of 14.04.
