Hi guys,
I have a running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS system on which I have installed Apache, php and mysql packages.
Now i just want to upgrade it to 14.04 LTS version.
I just want to upgrade the OS only and not the installed packages (I dont care about the package compatibility after the upgrade. This is just for testing purpose for now).
Is there any way of upgrading ONLY the OS and not the installed other packages ?
Note: If I upgrade the system using internet, it will definitely upgrade the already install packages. i dont want that. so i would prefer offline upgrade.
