Warning! Package gnome-disk-utility is deleting your Ubuntu GUI!

I recently installed the package gnome-disk-utility and it deleted my Ubuntu GUI + Login Manager after reboot. Has anyone else this issue? (Please install it in a virtual machine before you are deleting your GUI too)

Isn't it part of the default Ubuntu installation?

What were you running, Desktop-wise?
That package should already be included on Ubuntu.
It's the "Disks" program.
