I wanted to install libre office on my ubuntu 12.04 LTS os but the last update i tried has messed up (broken) my update ability. I get an error stating that i have unmet dependencies of my libre office program. I have tried the command to repair it but it has no effect. so here is the error i am getting and because I am new to ubuntu I am wondering if you nice folks can guide me through the repairs needed for my os. Thanks in advance for any direction for me to repair my ubuntu. Its been rock solid until this week. This is the message i am recieving. How do I add the -f function to repair this office program. Thanks again Joseph:)

You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libreoffice-core : Depends: libreoffice-common (> 1:3.5.7) but it is not installed
libreoffice-java-common : Depends: libreoffice-common but it is not installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.

I suggest you remove libreoffice add the ppa for LO and then install the newer version that will be available from.that, 4.2.2, I think.
