So I'm a wimp and I finally have a nice fresh 14.04 install done (dual monitors working and everything). :P I like 14.04.

Seems lots of folks are having UPGRADE issues so my question is this ........ Can I copy my complete HOME/username folder from my 12.04
drive to my nice clean fresh 14.04 drive and have it all work ????? I don't like upgrade issues - I don't like issues at all. I just got a bunch of video
card/driver issues fixed and 14.04 is running quite nicely so ...............

Thanks in advance ! ! ! ;)

Here's an Ubuntu link (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Partitioning/Home/Moving) that might help you

If you like your clean, nice running system, then do not move over your old home dir of 12.04. You of course can safely move over your user data (documents, photos, ..) though. One thing I additionally move over is my entire .thunderbird directory. But that's it.
