Sony Vaio 13 UEFI problem -

Hello
Trying to get kubuntu on a Sony Vaio 13, but I can't seem go get through UEFI. Install goes fine, but it keeps booting into windows

used boot repair. url is

Did you look in UEFI for a ubuntu entry and see it that will boot?

But many with Sony have to use work arounds as Sony has modified UEFI to only boot Windows.

One Sony user

The trick was to manually copy the ubuntu Boot directory in place of the \EFI\Boot Directory, and rename shimx64.efi to \EFI\Boot\bootx64.efi (not \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi )
