Compiz issue after upgrade to 14.04 64bit

I upgraded to 14.04 64 bit.
The issue is -> when I switch (alt+tab) from google chrome to another application (say file manager), chrome shakes in the background.
This happens only when I do (Unmaximize+maximize) to google chrome.
When chrome is started in maximized state only, this doesn't happen.
This is because of some issues with Wobbly+Compiz, I guess.
Please help in this regard.

Hi, I also had problems with Compiz with a clean installation of 14.04 64bit. I re-installed without Compiz and almost two weeks now, everything has been pretty stable. When I had Compiz installed, I had problems getting the CCSM to retain the settings. I plan to test again with Compiz when I get some spare time to see what happens.
