I've just got one of these with windows installed and tried to switch the arch linux drive from my old laptop into it. There have been graphics problems. What I didn't anticipate was that stick booting ubuntu 14.04 would, after complaining that it could not find an appropriate graphics driver and bringing up the dialog to run once in low resolution, simply freeze and become unresponsive. I'd be grateful of any advice from anyone who has had success with this hardware.
THANKS IN ADVANCE

The GPU that is enabled by the BIOS during boot may be dependent on whether the laptop is plugged into AC power or not.

In some machines with 'Hybrid Graphics (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HybridGraphics#Hybrid_Graphics)' it is necessary that you plugin the AC power during installation for the BIOS/UEFI controlled 'default' graphics card to work.
