Unable to resolve glxQueryExtension - Ansys15 meshing editor [ubuntu 12.04LTS]

I am using Ansys 15 in ubuntu 12.04 LTS [kernal version 3.2]

while trying to open meshing editor or geometry editor, i am getting the following error:

Unable to resolve function glXQueryExtension
Unable to resolve function glXMakeCurrent
Unable to resolve function glXQueryExtension
Unable to resolve function glXMakeCurrent

While the "glxgears" command works fine.

My computer has intel graphics card and the details displayed while using "lspci | grep VGA" command displayed the following output:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
