OK, so. I removed my Windows partition using os-uninstaller. After restarting I got the message BOOTMGR is missing. I then used boot-repair to fix the problem, however it didn't work.

here is the file generated by boot-repair in case anything went wrong -- http://paste.ubuntu.com/7341117/

Can anyone help me fix this?

Hi there,
Welcome to the forums!

it looks like you had a wubi install? Wubi runs inside windows and does not use grub. It looks like you may have removed the windows 7 recovery/reserved partition? The report says that the windows C: drive is still there, with wubi inside it. Syslinux is on on your mbr.

Boot it repair and OS removed are tools one would usually use with a full hard disk install of ubuntu.

please see this (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MigrateWubi) guide regarding migrating wubi to a full install. Wubi is no longer in active development and thus not recommended.

It may now be necessary to either use the windows disks to recover windows booting, or to use boot repair to install grub to the mbr to get a windows entry.

You cannot install grub2's boot loader as wubi uses the Windows boot loader.

But you now are missing bootmgr & the BCD which were in a separate Boot partition for Windows. You can use a Windows repairCD or flash drive to restore those two essential boot files. Boot-Repair cannot fix the missing files.

You may be able to use a third party Windows repair or:
