I upgraded (through the GUI, no apparent problem till reboot) from 13.10 to 14.04 on a 64bits system that always worked flawlessly. After rebooting, I got a black screen with a text saying:
"The login keyring did not get unlocked when you logged into your computer", and a password fild below.

I entered (what I am pretty sure is) my keyring password, but:
1- I do not see any dot/letter/anything in the password field (but I can see the caplock symbol next to it if I play with the caplock);
2- there is no way to click on "enter" (no pointer visible);
3- If I press return, nothing happens...
Since nothing happened, I tried a few other passwords I use, just in case, But no luck so far...

In short, I am stuck. Any idea?

I have the same issue when upgrading from 12.04 to 14.04

When I login it doesn't ask me for a password even though I have the "ask for password" setting on...

Anybody? Any ideas?
