So what do you think of the code name for 14.10 personally I liked Unreal Unicorn which another forum member suggested. But what do you guy's think ?

"Utopic" is pretty clunky and arcane. The preferred adjectival form is "utopian." Something like "Unstoppable" or "Unrelenting" or, as you suggest, "Unreal" all seem preferable to me.

I couldn't care less, really. But for the sake of boredom, for once I'll care and say that Utopic Unicorn sounds... weird. At that point I'd just refer to it as "14.10". I'm not even entirely sure why there are codenames in the first place for Ubuntu releases. It's not like any of the releases were a secret.

@SeijiSensei

From the Oxford English Dictionary the definition of Utopic is "That embodies or proposes Utopian ideals".

Yes, I know it appears there, but a little research suggested that it is not the preferred adjectival form. And it doesn't roll off the tongue either.

Sadly this release I didn't get to learn about an animal I had never heard of before.

Well, this time it's a mythical animal, too.

NO WAY! Those things are real, I tell ya!

Well, really, I had forgotten about that one.

I'm so torn. It's a ridiculous name, and "Unctuous Urchin" would have been brilliant. But I can't really argue with adding unicorns to almost anything.

Edit: It's Utopic (and even Utopian would have worked for this) so that it's the same vowel sound as Unicorn. None of the un- words are pronounced that way. United, Universal, ... Uterine...?

To a degree,it is..However, the "horns" are very real indeed. Not for the squeamish!

The virus is also a possible source of myths about the jackalope, a rabbit with the antlers of an antelope, and related cryptids such as the wolpertinger.[5][6] Stories and illustrations of horned rabbits appear in scientific treatises dating back many years, such as the Tableau encyclopédique et méthodique, from 1789.[7]
