no sound

hello,i have a question,i have no sound when i play youtube videos ,the sound card ia an ceative labs sound blaster audigy 2 ,it works perfectly ,with my audio cds ,but not on youtube ,the videos play fine ,can any one piont me in the right direction to fix this issue,thankyou daerly in advance.

Hi, jetint8ke. The problem seems to be something with the flash plugin... Are they installed? Which version do you have? that is a useful info that might help to solve your problem. Check out this thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1307619 and see if it works.

oh my bad,the OS is Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, 1.5 g cpu,512 pc100 dimm ram,

flash plug in is installed as well as the restricted ones ,still no sound,what to do ?

i got it fixed ,it turns out that my audigy 2 sound card does get recognized,sooo,i put in a different creative labs card,ct4810,and now it has awesome sound ,i can rock my playlist,woot,woot
