I recently upgraded from 13.10 to 14.04 and while doing so did run into a few issues.

Keyboard:
Unity/Gnome settings completely ignored, tried changing it through the unity-control-center. Only way to change keyboard is with dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration which in turn does break special keys for music playback.

Settings:
Unable to access 'screen' in the settings tab, get the following error
GnomeDesktop:ERROR:gnome-rr-config.c:663:gnome_rr_config_load_current: assertion failed: (gnome_rr_config_match (config, config))

Firefox:
Defaulted back to some old gtk2 theme, ignores system theme
