I currently have 12.04 on my desktop - the GRUB menu stopped responding to the keyboard on boot up, probably because of a temporary dual-boot setup with XP.
So it looks like I can't install 14.04 from a USB stick, I'm not sure I can even install from a boot disc. Re-installing the GRUB menu didn't solve the problem and I don't know about messing with the BIOS. The keyboard is wired, with the serial port plug. If anybody has any ideas, I'm listening.
