I've got USB sticks that will boot and run 14.04LTS 32 bit or 64 bit. However, instead of two sticks, how do I put them both on one, and have grub come up and ask me which to boot? I have multiple systems, some ancient ones that only have 32 bit cpus, that I am looking to upgrade. Yeah, not a big deal, but it is bugging me!!! I just used Ubuntu's Startup Disk Creator to make the current sticks. I can't be the first person to have asked this, but my quick forum search came up NULL.

Browse the internet for ubuntu multiboot usb and you will find several tools.

You can also look at this link (if you want to do it more manually). The instructions are generally correct, but not quite updated

Thanks, I didn't know what to search for.

[edit] well, so far, I have tried something called Multiverse and Yumi. Both are a FAIL! They both seem to be able so install multiple ISOs on a flash drive, but when I try to boot, they don't! I just get a prompt that says...

boot:

It seems to be asking me for a drive. I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing works. boot: isn't a shell prompt. It seems to be asking me for the drive or partition or something, of which I have no idea! Anybody actually used either of these to successfully create, from a 14.04 system, a stick that will boot without user interaction? or even with user interaction? at this point, I'll take anything that WORKS. Thanks, Justen
