According to update-manager I am on the lastest version - I am on 13.10. Is there some delay in the ugrade?:o

I am trying to upgrade (as I have done with 12.10-> 13.04, 13.04-> 13.10). Not a reinstallation.

Me too. I have 13.10, and each time I try, it says your system is up to date.

Check that Software and Updates - Updates tab is set to notify of new versions.

Upgrades from 12.04.4 to 14.04 will be made available with the first point release of 14.04.1 iirc.

Same goes for me! I have tried too and i don't use main server [USA] to download updates i have parallel mirror location.
May be to my mirror for trusty tahr upgrade, would be a little delay so, my upgrade can wait. . .
P.S. Ubuntu must have heavy load due to initial release, may be a week could take to reach 14.04 to us! xD

Using torrents works wonders. I downloaded 64bit and i386 versions of Unity, Gnome 3 and Server yesterday easily and without a hitch, burned them all to disk and have been seeding their torrents ever since.

I took the opportunity to 'learn' how to use torrents!
