About a week back I installed the Beta2 of Ubuntu Studio.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a screen where i could choose the different meta packages that I could Install.
Wanted to bring that to the notice of users here.

If I remember correctly the choices were:

Ubuntu Studio Audio Production
Ubuntu Studio Audio addons (maybe name was different)
Ubuntu Studio Publishing
Ubuntu Studio Graphic Design
Ubuntu Studio Photography
Ubuntu Studio Video Production

There were checkboxes next to each.

I really appreciate this new feature.
I have installed Ubuntu Studio on machines used by graphic artists and there it seemed that the Audio Production meta, which was previously installed by default, was a waste.
Also, the person who used the machine for Inkscape/Gimp and a little Blender within one week garbaged the Jack and audio settings and required intervention.

It is great to have a choice while installing. Linux is usually full of choices and it is very natural to add this option.
Thanks to the team, the OS is far more customizable now to the needs of the user.

Also, the new artwork by MadeInKobaia (http://madeinkobaia.deviantart.com/) is really nice.
