Migrating from slackware to Ubuntu

Hi i am a slckware user ,recently got a copy of Ubuntuu linux from a friend ,learnt that its very easy to switch from a distro to ubuntuu without loosing file structures .
On a separate note does ubuntuu has KDE on it .

Hi, and I hope you like Ubuntu ! KDE is available, but you might want to get kubuntu-desktop instead, which will include it and a bunch of other apps to give you the kubuntu take on KDE. Make sure you enable the right repositories though (I guess universe for kubuntu).
