I have been doing a search on the web for a clear set of instructions to edit FSTAB for my 14.04 installation in a few weeks and I am not finding much, other than an old (2009 ) tutorial HERE (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=283131)
and this site http://www.howtogeek.com/62761/how-to-tweak-your-ssd-in-ubuntu-for-better-performance/
Are the changes to 14.04 such as TRIM enabled going to change these directions ?
2 things about my installation that need to be taken into consideration
I use an SSD for / and Home
I use UEFI motherboard so there will be an EFI partition
