I am using lubuntu 13.10 and have a dual monitor setup where I am using a laptop screen as my primary display and a television as my second, through HDMI. This laptop has an AMD/ATI Radeon HD 7640G and I used Catalyst Control to set this up. It largely works fine, but I was wondering if there is any way to have separate panels on each monitor rather than having a single panel that stretches across both? I would like to have separate menus and task bars if it is possible.

Hmm, just an idea, since I haven't done this, try setting the existing panel to span 50% of the virtual screen, or whatever is needed to stretch just one monitor, and set alignment to right. Then create another panel also spanning 50% but this time set alignment to left.
