Asus x551m, Windows 8.1

Hello

A friend gave me a asus x551m which comes pre-installed with windows 8.1. for several days I've been trying to boot from a CD or USB without any success.

I have read a little about UEFI, but I have no results yet ..

Any help you can give me is welcome ...

Hi, Welcome to the forums.
Please post the exact problem you are facing when trying to boot from live CD.
You will get much better help
