I'm trying to get my new laptop to work with my old tablet - Wacoom PL-550.
Generally, it works, but ubuntu allows only 1 resolution on my system, which it 1920x1080:
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
Screen 0: minimum 1920 x 1080, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 1920 x 1080

1920x1080 0.0*
While this is fine for work, when I try to use it with PL-550, on the tablet the image distortion makes my work hard.
I've tried several tutorials on how to install Nvidia driver on my laptop, but each time I get unbooteable system.
Than I've tried this:
cvt 1024 768 60
